TACKLESHOP SELECTS TRUITION’S ON-DEMAND ECOMMERCE PLATFORM TO SUPPORT FURTHER GROWTH


Leading British eCommerce site for fisherman upgrades eCommerce site and deploys advanced features from Truition's Commerce Management System.

(Jena / Bridgwater (UK) – October 7, 2008) - Truition Inc., the leading on demand eCommerce platform provider for retailers and brand manufacturers, is pleased to announce today the launch of the newly rebuilt TackleShop eCommerce site. TackleShop, a top UK ecommerce destination for anglers selected Truition to build a new eCommerce storefront leveraging modern design and best practice principles and to streamline their inventory and order management processing.

TackleShop chose Truition to upgrade their eCommerce site after they became increasingly frustrated with the limitations of their existing solution. On the old site, inventory quantities were not synchronized efficiently with their warehouse leading to lost sales opportunities and as their consumers became increasingly sophisticated, so did their demands on the eCommerce site which the old solution was not able to meet. The new solution provided by Truition overcomes these restrictions through automated, continuous inventory processing and provides TackleShop buyers with a better shopping experience including improved site search, effective product merchandising and a more personalized browsing experience.

Thousands of items from deep product catalogs are ordered and shipped around the world. Adding the eBay marketplace to their sales channels is a key component of their growth strategy.
