
Each new Truition client is assigned a dedicated Project Manager (PM) who oversees the engagement from concept to launch ensuring that projects are completed on time and on budget. Truition PMs are well trained in eCommerce technology, industry standard methodologies and the proprietary Truition CMS Platform.
Our PMs follow a proven project management methodology that supports the rapid development and launch of a successful eCommerce site. The following stages provide a high-level view of the methodology used by our team:
Stage 1: Needs Assessment
The PM will work with the client and Account Manager to assess business requirements from the point of view of an online end user and administrative back office team. The PM will also review the client time frames for delivery and regular communication schedules.
Stage 2: Design Consultation
The design consultation will cover industry best practices, UI specifications, back office work process and the detailed project plan. The PM then creates the overall project team based on required resources and skills.
Stage 3: Solution Development
The PM guides the project team and client through the site build phase. Truition supports an open and interactive build cycle with milestones and client demos throughout the development process.
Stage 4: Training
Training is important throughout the project phases, but it is most effective in the final stages of the implementation. The PM will ensure that the client team is well trained on all relevant aspects of the CMS platform, from inventory management to order management to customer service.
Stage 5: Quality Assurance
The PM plays an important role in confirming that quality assurance standards are met from both the clients’ and Truition’s perspective.
Stage 6: Deployment
The PM will ensure that the solution is ready to be launched and meets, or exceeds, client expectations for quality, design and functionality.
